Dark Matter features striking dark purple flowers that create a bold contrast against the green foliage. It has lance-shaped, green leaves that are aromatic when crushed. To achieve the best flowering results, it should be in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, they're drought-tolerant, requiring only occassional watering. Blooming from late spring through summer, this perennial is great for borders, pollinator gardens or as a backdrop for shorter plants. Deadheading spent flowers can encourage a second bloom in the season. Cutting back in the early spring promotes healthy growth and flowering. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
