Gorizia is a particularly flavourful variety of rosemary. It's characterized by broad, flat leaves that are larger than others and highly aromatic. The plant produces pale blue to lavender flowers in spring and sometimes again in fall. It thrives in full sun and likes well-drained sandy soil in a warm climate. Like most rosemary, it's commonly planted in herb gardens but is also popular in borders, rock gardens and container planting. Requires regular watering until established and benefits from pruning to maintain its shape and promote denser growth. Established plants have good drought tolerance. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
