Red Riding Hood has glossy green foliage and produces striking tubular red flowers that are densely clustered on tall, upright stems from early to mid-summer. This variety thrives best in full sun and prefers well-drain soil but it is notably tolerant of poor soil conditions. Attractive in borders, containers and cutting floral arrangements. Deadheading spent flowers can encourage reblooming. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
