Dark Towers is known for its stunning combination of glossy wine-red foliage and masses of pale pink flowers. Typically blooming from late spring to early summer, the tubular flowers emerge on tall, sturdy stems. It thrives best in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Tolerant of dry conditions and poor soils once estbalished. Commonly planted in pollinator gardens and native plant gardens, its foliage and tall flower spikes make it ideal for adding vertical interest. Great for cut flower arrangements. Deadheading spent flowers can encourage a longer blooming period. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
