Malepartus is an ornamental grass with a striking, upright growth habit and produces large, feathery plumes in late summer. These feathery plumes start with a deep reddish hue and transition to silvery tones as they age. This plant does its best in full sun and well-drained soil to prevent any moisture issues. It's ideal for a specimen plant, as a natural screen, and can even be used in dried flower arrangements. Malepartus needs only occasional watering once established. Deer resistant.
