Green Carpet has rich green leaves and produces tiny, white flowers in early spring. It thrives in part to full shade, and well-drained, fertile soil, although it is adaptable to other soil conditions. This Japanese Spurge is typically used as a ground cover that suppresses weeds and is known for being low-maintenance. It's ideal for planting under treeds, in shaded borders or on slopes where erosion control is needed. Pruning is rarely necessary but can be done to remove any brown or damaged leaves if wanted.
