Heritage is a raspberry bush with upright canes that bear medium to large-sized, bright red raspberries. Flowering occurs in late spring with fruit ripening in summer and often continuing until the first frost in fall. The raspberry bushes do best in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Annual pruning is important. Cut back all canes that have fruited to ground level in late winter. Can tolerate winter temperatures better than many other raspberry varities and relatively heat tolerant.
